WFCRP Plenary 2022

Dante’s Divine Comedy: Journey from Despair to Joy

Plenary Speaker, Anne Pickup, LCMFT

The Divine Comedy is a poem of interiority and our time will, in many ways, be homage to the invisible world and the journey of consciousness beginning with Dante’s exile to complex issues of our own daily life.  We will end on Sunday with Dante’s numinous experience of the Divine Self.

The overview of this vast work will be through the Jungian lens using Helen Luke’s book, Dark Wood to White Rose.

We will utilize art, music and poetry to amplify images and will welcome insights and reactions from participants.

Anne Pickup is Jungian Analyst in the Washington D.C. area.  Past president of both the Philadelphia Association of Jungian Analysts (PAJA) and the Jungian Analysts of the Washington Area  (JAWA).  Founding member and Board of Directors of the C.G. Jung Study Center of Southern California.
